Aesculus octandra (Yellow Buckeye)

Huge shade tree with erect clusters of yellow flowers in mid to late spring. Textured leaves are less prone to leaf spot and mildew than other Buckeyes. Grows quickly when young, slows down as it ages. Hardy to Zone 4.
